Celluloid Reverie
A gallery performance at the Gus Fisher Gallery, inspired by the life and practice of Derek Jarman. Created in response to Jarman’s film My Very Beautiful Movie (1974), on display in the exhibition. Celluloid Reverie is an interconnected, responsive dance performance that traverses between two performers, the film’s sound and scenery, and the presence of the artist.
Choreographed by Kelly Nash
Performers/Collaborators: Caleb Heke and Oli Mathiesen
Producer: Gus Fisher Gallery
